The Edinburgh Collection

The Edinburgh Collection was created with the conviction that friendly hospitality, personalised service and comfortable accommodation are the keys to a successful stay. The Edinburgh Collection include the historic Old Waverley Hotel, Holyrood ApartHotel, the new Haymarket Hub Hotel and the recently acquired Prince Street Suites. Ricky Kapoor, Managing Director of the properties, decided to partner with Criton to create a guest app that would change the way they engage with their guests. 

The Edinburgh Collection app enabled the group to:

• Display their portfolio of properties and encourage direct & repeat bookings at other locations
• Make it easier for guests to find the properties
• Define places of interest to each specific location
• Promote offers and increase upsell by using push notifications
• Deepen engagement with guests by introducing in-app messaging and ordering to manage all incoming guest communications from one single portal.

The Edinburgh Collection recently acquired Princes Street Suites aparthotel from a group of private investors and seamlessly integrated within their group app also the Princes Street Suites app that was already available to guests. Using Criton's technology, guests at Princes Street Suites will be able to benefit from all the mobile-friendly information and services that The Edinburgh Collection offers within their group app. 

The group now owns in excess of 440 bedrooms across Edinburgh, employing over 120 staff across the four properties.
