The Fistral Beach App
The team at Philema Hospitality Management, who manages Fistral Beach, Esplanade Hotel and Boringdon Hall, decided to create an individual app for each one of their properties (instead of one group app containing all their properties) to reflect the different brands and the individual character of each property.
The team developed an app for Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa as they wanted to adopt a mobile-friendly solution that would enable them to digitise their guest directory and engage with their guests pre, during and post stay.
The app represents a one-stop-shop for guests to find out all the information they need about the area and what they love the most about the hotel; from Spa treatments, fitness classes and live events, to the mouth-watering and refreshing menus of the Dune Restaurant and the Bay Bar, insiders guides, vouchers, room extras and other hotel services.
The app allows guests to book direct at the hotel, but also to book at the Spa, Restaurant or Bar. Guests can easily message the hotel staff, whether they are in their room or out and about, with any questions they might have as well as for requesting in-room service and ordering extra items.
The hotel app enables the team at Fistral Beach to send very targeted communications to guests through location-based push notifications. A loyalty programme built in the app allows the hotel to work towards converting every guest into a loyal customer.
