As Scotland’s leading family Spa Resort, 4 star Crieff Hydro is centrally located in its own 900-acre estate with an unrivalled range of 60 indoor and outdoor activities, 5 quality eateries, a Victorian spa and a 9-hole golf course.
Extensively redeveloped from top to bottom, the resort is situated in the beautiful Strathearn Valley just 1 hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The impressive facilities include 2 swimming pools, off-road driving courses, tennis courts and a rifle range. Horse riding, quad biking and water sports are also available.
The luxury adults-only spa at Crieff Hydro has an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and spa bath. Guests can sample indulgent beauty treatments in the salon, or relax on the pool-side loungers.
At the Hotel, the 4-star family-friendly rooms have work desks and tea/coffee facilities and all are stylishly decorated. Crieff also offers a range of beautiful self-catering options, including lodges, apartments and cosy cabins.
Crieff Hotel has a range of dining options, including an Italian style family restaurant and bar. The Meikle Restaurant offers a more traditional experience in the grand Victorian dining room.
The Crieff Hydro App
Crieff Hydro decided to digitise all the guest information to enable guests to easily navigate their way through the large resort and find out anything they need to know about the many activities and facilities whenever they need it.
Thus, guests can easily read the things they can do, for example, in the Riding Centre they can find out what classes they can book, how to do so and the costs. Similar information is available for the elegant Victorian Spa, along with links to easily and conveniently make a booking.
After implementing new safety procedures, the team at Crieff Hydro has also added a Health section to the app to address any concern guests might have and let them know everything the Resort is doing to ensure their wellbeing.
Online check-in is also available in the app, enabling guests to provide their details before arrival and head straight to their self-catering accommodation or the key card pick-up collection point at the hotel upon arrival.
In July 2020, Crieff Hydro received 1,760 downloads of the app.
