Julie's mission in life is to help independents embrace guest facing technology which can revolutionise their guest experience and their operations, reducing cost and increasing revenue.
Head of Engineering
In search of a new challenge, Cedric joined Criton after completing his Masters in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh. He loves technology, music, and is an aspiring pianist.
Head of Marketing
Susan leads the marketing team in driving Criton's global ambitions. She has over fifteen years experience in marketing roles including promoting Edinburgh’s Festivals and at VisitScotland.
Head of Commercial
Steven joined Criton as P/T Head of Commercial. Steven is an entrepreneurial senior exec with a proven track record of delivering profitable commercial growth & digital leadership in tech startups.
Talent Acquisition & Operations
Ron made the move to internal recruitment having spent 11 years recruiting for a number of agencies in Edinburgh. In his first year with the business he has helped grow the team from 6 staff to over 30.
Chief Finance Officer (P/T)
Experienced finance director, Innes Chalmers worked with Coopers & Lybrand, Dell Computers and Abbey Business Centres managing the companies’ large budgets. He also worked as a freelance finance director with clients in the property and hospitality sector.
Business Development Manager - England
Before joining Criton Jo ran her own Business Development company and brings a wealth of experience in the Hospitality industry with her.
Business Development Manager - Scotland
Eager to join the start up community, Sadiah joined in January 2018 having working with a number of technology companies.
Business Development Manager - London
After a successful career in hospitality sales, Melissa has moved from New York to join Criton in London. Melissa’s vast industry experience is now directed in helping businesses embrace technology to stay competitive and create a better guest experience.

Karina joined Criton in January 2018 after 3 years of working in hospitality and travel technology events. It is here where she found her passion for the industry.

Senior Marketing Executive
With a strong background in marketing & PR roles, Stefano’s focus is to maximise opportunities for brand exposure and raise the company profile through events attendance & PR activity.
Marketing Executive - Campaigns
Valerie is responsible for integrated marketing campaigns. She previously worked for an Engineering & Manufacturing start-up and has a background in the IT & Hospitality industry.
Customer Success Executive
Christian joined from Amazon in search of a new challenge. With a background in hospitality management & customer tech support roles, he is enjoying the challenge of learning new design skills to get ideas developed.
Alan joined Criton in March 2018 after four and a half years as a software developer at a digital marketing agency in search of a new and exciting challenge. Alan loves to cook when he isn't programming.
Tech Operations Lead
Craig is a hands-on Operations/Infrastructure architect with over 20 years experience. He has a passion for scalability & high availability and is here to make sure the site is up and running.
Rob is the Product Owner for the integrations team, working with 3rd party technologies to improve Criton’s product offering. Rob joined in June 2018 as a Junior Software Developer. He previously worked in the Aerospace industry as a Project Manager.
Manfredi joined Criton in September 2018 as a Product Designer, after having worked as an UX/UI Designer for several companies. He likes to solve complex problems, and thinks that design can be a pretty good way to do that!
Tech Lead - App
Connor is a Senior Software Developer who has worked in a number of sectors for the last decade or so. From designing, project managing and building data entry systems for clinical trials at the University of Edinburgh to bespoke websites and apps for a marketing and design company. He also a wise but cruel Game Master for his tabletop roleplaying group in his free time.
Tech Lead - CMS
Andy joined with nearly six years of experience working as a front-end developer with a background in UX, by night, however, he’s an amateur political cartoonist and though he can’t play the piano particularly well, that doesn’t stop him trying.
Michal started in November 2017. Before working at Criton, he was a mechanical engineering student with a passion for developing software.
Gordon joined Criton in November 2017 after graduating from CodeClan and then spending 1 year as the mobile developer for a local Web Development company.
James started at Criton in February 2018. He loves music, especially when it’s live, and plays the ukulele in his spare time.
Sibin has been developing diverse web applications in Microsoft technologies for variety of clients over 12 years. He previously worked in an offshore development centre in India for a New York based software development company. Other than programming he is really into badminton and also interested in drawing.
Rachel joined Criton in June 2018 as a junior software developer following a decision to seek out a new and exciting career in tech following 5 years working as a pensions actuary. When Rachel's not playing about with code, she enjoys playing korfball and netball and walking in Scotland's beautiful countryside.
Before joining Criton, Dan was a scientist who researched bio-molecular motors and wrote code to automate tasks around the lab. He's a fan of obstacle course racing and ultimate frisbee.
After 2,5 years of working as an instructor at CodeClan, Zsolt joined Criton seeking new challenges. Prior to moving to Scotland from Hungary, he used to be a radio DJ, high school teacher and also worked in the oil industry.
Joseph is a senior software engineer in the integration team. He is interested in everything about writing the code and contributing to the open source project. When he is not coding, he is doing maths - he is primarily interested in the operational research.
