Multiple property functionality: here’s why it will be a game changer for the hospitality sector

21st August 2018

In summer 2018 we were delighted to launch a hospitality industry-first with multiple property group functionality and announce that London-based Cheval Residences became the first brand to adopt the new product.

Created specifically for the hospitality sector, the new product gives accommodations providers with multiple properties a platform to include information on each one within a single parent app.  With locations across the capital city, luxury serviced apartment specialist Cheval Residences are the first group to adopt the new technology with eight of their luxury properties contained within their new app. Cheval Residences have also added Benbria Loop’s in-app messaging platform to their new guest welcome app. Loop will support Cheval Residences in delivering a superior customer experience through a unified inbox supporting multiple messaging channels.

Julie Grieve, Criton’s founder & CEO, said: “Our new product will be transformative for groups of serviced apartments and hotels as they wrap all guest-facing technology into one unique portal and we are delighted that the team at Cheval Residences is already benefiting from our new functionality. Group functionality is a game-changer for multiple properties like Cheval; enabling them to showcase the unique personality of each property while reinforcing their brand, increasing direct bookings and driving loyalty from new and repeat guests.”

Cheval Residences have multiple luxury properties in London. They are benefitting from the following features:

  • Full brand integration for both individual properties and the parent group, ensuring the unique personality and voice of each accommodation is maximised;
  • Ability to list properties by categories such as location and accommodation type, encouraging cross-promotion across the group’s inventory;
  • Signposting queries from guests to the right property by the creation of both Head Office and individual property contact information to ensure ease of communication between your team and guests pre, during and post stay;
  • An integrated mapping tool to ensure ease of use for guests when planning their itinerary for their stay.

As the leading luxury serviced apartment provider in London, Cheval Residences have created their own branded ‘parent’ app, which contains standalone apps for all its serviced apartments. Guests at any Cheval property can download the app from today on their own personal mobile device to find out everything they need to know about the property they’re staying in; or review information on other locations and consider a future visit.  Prior to working with Criton the company had a static app which offered no content control and quickly became outdated due to ongoing iOS updates.

Commenting on the launch, George Westwell, Director at Cheval Residences said: “As an accommodation provider who has delivered excellence for the last 35 years we take great pride in delivering a high standard of guest experience.  With the new Cheval app, we are not only able to personalise the guest experience at each of our residences, but with Criton we also have complete control over our content and brand”.
